Nature and wildlife photographer with a passion for Nordic flora and fauna.

Portraits

Many of us have a tendency to look at animals, or species thereof, as groups – with every member being the same as the other. With these portraits, I hope to capture the individuality of each subject, and home in on one individual at a time.

In their environment

Portraying animals in their natural habitat, doing their thing, is to me one of the biggest joys of wildlife photography. In this series, I wanted to show precisely that: animals in their wild environment. A waxwing near its bellowed berries, a red-backed shrike in a thick thorny shrub and a goldeneye on a dead tree in calm water.
